“lego star wars death star amazon lego 10218 retired”

At the end of the day, this is our website and our list, so our opinion had the final say.  However, we’d be fools not to use the opinions of thousands of other brickheads out there.  We checked out the set ratings from the top retailers and factored them into our ratings when necessary.  We weren’t going to have a strong opinion swayed, but if we were on the fence about any, we’d take those ratings into consideration.
Surprising, almost two years since I originally write this post, Amazon.com still have sellers listing complete Harry Potter Lego sets. Some are still quite expensive, but others look more reasonable once you’ve done your and seen the much more expensive and complicated options out there. There are little stocking stuffers like the bagged Harry Potter in the Lab figure that are reasonably affordable, and larger sets like some of the Hogwarts sets (beware, there are several that make up the complete castle) and others with many unique and iconic pieces (such as the Quidditch Match set) easily available.
What about rebrickable.com? This can store your entire collection, tell you what pieces you have missing from any set and create a shopping list at specific brick link or brick owl vendors. Super handy!

➡ ONLINE LEGO SHOP RETIRING SOON: While the US version of the Online LEGO Shop hasn’t been updated yet with sets retiring soon, the UK version lists a number of large and exclusive sets that are scheduled to retire. This means that once the current stock is gone, LEGO will make no more of these sets. Four of the sets are from the LEGO Ideas line, which are limited release to begin with. The four sets are: #21108 LEGO Ideas Ghostbusters Ecto-1, #21302 LEGO Ideas The Big Bang Theory, #21303 LEGO Ideas WALL-E, and #21304 LEGO Ideas Doctor Who. None of these sets are on sale, but if you want one, it is best to get them now before they will disappear and prices on the secondary market go up. You can find them under the LEGO Ideas section of the Online LEGO Shop.
Ah, got it. FYI – the Market was introduced at the beginning of the year and the Fire Brigade was introduced in the middle of the year. I would be shocked if the Market was still on shelves in 6 months, but I could be wrong. – Nathan Stohlmann Jan 3 ’12 at 4:06
You can also order individual bricks from Lego.com, but the wall in the store gets you a better price. Another option for bulk buying is to order on ebay or from sites like BrickLink. (I’ve not done the latter, so I can’t verify the success of that approach; please use caution in your purchases.)
Create your very own treetop hideaway with the 3-in-1 LEGO Creator Tree house. Open the secret trapdoor and climb up the fold-down ladder. Use the gray bucket to lift supplies up with the winch. Fill the red bucket with water and tow it up to keep unwanted guests away. This detailed playhouse includes a yellow wagon for transporting all your favorite things to your treetop hideaway, a hollow tree for storing your secret treasure map and a dog. Remove the roof for easy access to the storage area and sleeping bag, or detach the entire Tree house. Rebuild into a cute lakeside hut with a jetty and pizza oven or a 2-story farmyard barn with a garden and wheelbarrow using the supplied alternate building instructions. Includes a child minifigure.

I’ve always been in 2 minds about the Sydney opera house, it just seems so expensive compared to Tower bridge and especially Big Ben both of which I have, they both have many more pieces for less money. I managed to get Doctor Who for £35 on amazon, I got Big Bang theory with VIP points, own ewok village and Wall-E. That leaves the sandcrawler which has never been a must buy like ewok village was.
