Lego Star Wars Battle of Scarif Retiring Soon Imagine experiencing a battle scene on the beach you made sandcastles on for your entire life. If this fails you can consider your own swap options. This may include using smaller pieces in the case of replacing a large brick or using a more modern window that looks very similar and will only be noticed by those who are intimate with the set. Finally, you may try changing the color. The option of changing the color is a big one. If you are considering doing it, you want to look at all the other elements in the set that share that color. For example, I had the option of using sand-blue instead of sand-green in the #10185 LEGO Modular Green Grocer. It would have definitely been cheaper in certain areas, but there were pieces made in sand-green that weren’t made in sand-blue, so it became a less attractive option. Keep in mind that a full replacement is not always necessary. A good builder can fit in color-swaps very subtly. You will ultimately need to be the judge of how complete or modified the end model needs to be.

I have Lots of Galaxy Squad, Alien Conquest, and a few Ninjago sets, but my best ones are my Power Miner Sets. I have the Titanium Command Rig, the Underground Mining Base, Lavatraz, the Crystal King, and a few others. I mainly see these big ones (Command Rig and Underground Base) go for $200-$400 on Amazon and other places. I have them preconstructed with the instructions. However, I see them sold on Brian’s Toy’s for only $90-$100. Is that realistic? Please respond to this as I am BURIED in my sets and really want to sell them. Oh yeah, I also have the Indiana Jones Temple of Doom Set and the Lego MBA Level One Space Designer set. The Space Designer has all original pieces and content and the box, but it has been opened. Is that worth anything? Thanks, hope you can get back to me!
As much I’d like those three there are several other Direct To Consumer (D2C) sets that are higher on my list, therefore all three of them are a pass. If I was to chose one it would be 75059 – Sandcrawler.
If you are buying new, you can still reflect on the weight- a little bit at least. LEGO is so marvelously cute that it’s kind of deceptive how expensive they are – especially if you are buying sets!  Pound for pound, magnetic toys like Magnatiles (many moms will say these are pricey) are usually cheaper than LEGO sets.  Boxes of just bricks are cheaper (by the pound) but only by a little.
Read Carefully- They will likely write that in the description -“this is a picture of a random sampling”.  Also be aware that you may not be getting “only” LEGOs.  If you don’t want to see Mega Blocks in the bag, read carefully.
