“lego blue +lego 10017”

I can’t believe I bought this thing. The buyer’s remorse was instant. I’m 34 years old and bought a Lego Death Star. Is this what my life has come to? Spending hard earned paycheck dollars on plastic bricks? Whatever, dude! This is the BEST. TOY. EVERRRRR!!! I put it in my kitchen as a decoration. I like to crush the **** out of Lego Luke in the Lego trash compactor. Take that, maturity!
LEGO Friends is of course not retiring as a theme as it is highly popular, however several of the individual sets are to give room to the new wave next year. The #3185 LEGO Friends Summer Riding Camp is a particularly nice set and it is listed for half price, and so is the #3186 LEGO Friends Emma’s Horse Trailer. You can’t go wrong with these sets as they are super sweet and have great resale value as well. You can fine them at the Retiring Soon section of the Online LEGO Shop.
LEGO Mos Eisley Cantina is a popular Star Wars set, and last call is coming in the near future for this original trilogy model. This set is a highly recognizable depiction of a classic Star Wars scene, and that has… Continue Reading →
Nice catch. They have them in stock and no longer with the retiring soon label. Now that is very concerning. If there was one thing reliable, it was that when they said a set was retiring soon, it was. This just changes the game in a negative way. I don’t know the legality of such a thing – but this is getting close to an unfair business practice that may actually be illegal based on the public dissemination of misleading information.
If they re-release sets that gained worth, that won’t do them a favor i think. Some sets i only bought because i hope they gain worth. If they start re-releasing everything good, i won’t do that anymore.
For sale is a brand new LEGO Creator Fire Brigade set. Original owner. Box is in near mint collector condition. Item location is Winnipeg, Manitoba. Local pick up available. Free shipping to anywhere …
To me “Retiring Soon” label was the latest promotional tool from S@H to entice people to buy older sets WITHOUT loss of profit (via discounts).  Since it is just a promo tool, it does not need to be 100% reliable.
LEGO STAR WARS GAME—THE BATTLE OF HOTH GAME—-SET 3866 discontinued set complete with origiinal box, parts and manuals Defend Hoth as you battle against your friends and the Empire! It is a dark time for the Rebellion. Darth Vader has discovered Luke Skywalker’s secret base on the remote ice planet of Hoth™, and Imperial ground forces are ready to attack! The Battle for Hoth™ has begun in an exciting game of strategy and luck for 2 or 4 players.
Another theme that is retiring is LEGO Hero Factory, to give room for the return of LEGO BIONICLE next year. Most of the LEGO Hero Factory sets are already sold out, but there are a few left from the latest wave that you may want to consider. Even if you don’t want them for yourself, the mini heroes sell particularly well in the secondary market. You can find whatever is left at the Retiring Soon section of the Online LEGO Shop.
This LEGO set is the “cheaper” version of the UCS Imperial Shuttle (10212), a set with extreme attention to detail, but already discontinued and quite complicated to find (also a bit pricey starting at $760).
@ Genadi, as a Lego fan my entire life and now an AFOL (adult fan of Lego) I personally ask that you don’t support organizations from foreign countries that sell cheaper replicas of Lego sets like the ones in your aliexpress link. Lego is suing these companies like Lepin, which in my opinion is a horrible unethical company, for IP infringement. Since Chinese laws are different Lego will have a hard and expensive legal battle ahead of them. Yes they are cheaper and similar, but they are not Lego so the quality is not there and they are part of the reason for Lego’s higher price. Lego files many patents to protect itself and still you get organizations like these. Sorry to be a bummer on the good deal, but to me the big picture doesn’t justify the discount. Buy used Lego’s and recondition them. They will be like new. There are a few ways to do this on the Internet. Otherwise get them on clearance or at discount stores as noted. I hope this helps.
➡ LEGO MINECRAFT SETS ON SALE: LEGO Minecraft sets are not just great for Minecraft fans, but they are also excellent parts-packs for basic LEGO bricks in earthy colors, especially when they are on sale. Some of the current sets on sale that are marked as retiring soon include the #21127 LEGO Minecraft The Fortress (the only set with a Minecraft horse!), the #21122 LEGO Minecraft The Nether Fortress, the #21124 LEGO Minecraft The End Portal, the #21121 LEGO Minecraft The Desert Outpost, and the #21126 LEGO Minecraft The Wither. You can find them under the LEGO Minecraft section or under Sales and Deals at the Online LEGO Shop.
This kind of project is definitely take a lot of resources, both on time and money, but isn’t that what hobbies are for? I already started ordering a couple hundred euros on the first pieces, and I’ll keep on this until I completed it. I’ll keep you posted.
➡ ONLINE LEGO SHOP SALES & DEALS: A number of the older LEGO Dimensions packs are on sale, but this is not particularly a new development. You can buy most LEGO Dimensions packs at about half price both directly from LEGO and at other retailers. What is more interesting is that several newly released larger sets are on sale as well, with 20% off the regular price. This includes the #21127 LEGO Minecraft The Fortress, the #70322 LEGO Nexo Knights Axl’s Tower Carrier, and the #41067 LEGO Disney Princess Belle’s Enchanted Castle. Other notable sets on sale are some of the LEGO Nexo Knights Ultimate Knight packs, and the #40203 LEGO Vampire and Bat Halloween set. Also, the #41068 LEGO Disney Princess Arendelle Castle Celebration, and the #41066 LEGO Disney Princess Anne & Kristoff’s Sleigh Adventure have been on sale for many months now. They are great sets, but it is possible that LEGO made too many of them and they are selling fast enough. You can find all the discounted sets under the Sales and Deals section of the Online LEGO Shop.
I’ve definitely heard of rebrick but have never used it personally. I’m not sure how it would work for me since I’m both a builder and collector and therefore have two catagories of LEGO pieces. One is strictly to stay with the sets and everything else is building material. However, it is the perfect solution for those who may not have a seperation and can get more milage out of their collection.
Imagine if LEGO gave every set a 1-10 rating indicating its potential as for resale investment and then sent you and email letting you know when a set is being retired and always did a 50% discount for retiring sets. that would be amazing and super easy right?! But then again if they did that everyone and their mother would be investing in LEGO. One of the reasons why LEGO still has investment potential is because its actually pretty difficult so 99.9% of America doesnt stand a chance and making a profit, unless they did a ton of research and even then you still need a “feel” for the LEGO market, and thats not something someone can be taught, its just acquired with years of experience.
Lego, like any company, has to periodically thin their line in order to make room for new sets. Production of parts can only occur at a particular rate and if too many sets are in production, they can’t meet the production of them all. Additionally, there’s only so much life that molds have and some sets which use unique molds are not likely to be continued beyond the lifespan of the mold. Once it breaks, they have to weigh the time and cost of replacing them to the time and money they will spend doing so as opposed to the money that could be made making a new mold for a new set altogether.
Create your very own treetop hideaway with the 3-in-1 LEGO Creator Tree house. Open the secret trapdoor and climb up the fold-down ladder. Use the gray bucket to lift supplies up with the winch. Fill the red bucket with water and tow it up to keep unwanted guests away. This detailed playhouse includes a yellow wagon for transporting all your favorite things to your treetop hideaway, a hollow tree for storing your secret treasure map and a dog. Remove the roof for easy access to the storage area and sleeping bag, or detach the entire Tree house. Rebuild into a cute lakeside hut with a jetty and pizza oven or a 2-story farmyard barn with a garden and wheelbarrow using the supplied alternate building instructions. Includes a child minifigure.
Start at a reasonable price. In general LEGO buyers expect to pay between $4 and $7 per pound for loose used LEGO pieces including shipping. Clean lots with desirable pieces will often sell for even more. Start your auction at the low end of that range or below it. This will show your buyers you have done your homework and know what your lot is worth.

I gave this to my nephew yesterday for Christmas and he loved it. Right away we started to play with it. It has so many pieces and details that we only got to build 3 sets between us two. My nephew sure is going to have a blast building the whole thing all week haha that means he’s going to be entertained for many hours!! That will definitely give my sis some time to sit back and relax.
Also known as Dark Shark II or Black Skull, this Lego set is pretty detailed as the aftcastle can be accessed by opening its sidewalls as well as detaching a piece of the poop deck. You can also move the rudder by turning the steering wheel! One customer wrote, “…there is no set that can beat the Skull’s Eye Schooner.” This set is definitely in the running to be one of the best Lego sets because it has a plethora of cool features such as a compass next to the steering wheel and an odd postbox where you can find a glass and a gun.
The large scale figurines can be hit or miss, honestly.  Some of them can really get so far away from the classic Lego minifigurine that they can feel pretty far off for a Lego traditionalist.  However, even for a grumpy minifiguring fanboy, it is easy to see the appeal when they get it right.  A shining example is the Scout Trooper and Speeder Bike set.  The Speeder is of course one of the coolest vehicles in the original trilogy, landing in Return of the Jedi’s Battle of Endor.  The speeder features a spring-loaded shooter and a few other cool details like movable flaps.  The Speeder is sturdy and the Trooper fits on quite well with the handlebars and foot rests seating him nicely.  This is a set that can handle some action, it is light, lean, and fun.  Not the most challenging or lengthy build out there, but the end result is a must have for any Star Wars fan.
