Delivery will almost always be made by a courier or signed for method of posting, and items will be well packaged to ensure the product stays in perfect condition. We also offer free shipping on any spend above £35. There is also the option for an enchanced postage service, whatever the level of spend. This is certainly valuable for last minute purchases or if you want to guarantee a faster delivery. We also use stronger packaging on sets posted with an enchanced service, we hate to see box damage, especially on the rarer sets we sell.
When our kids were little and Legos (built and unbuilt) were scattered across the floor, we referred to them as our low tech burglar alarm. No one but a parent used to a Lego filled floor could have navigated without pain (or heavy work boots!)
When I go to the US retiring page, all I get are bionicle sets and stuff, none of the items listed here. Then I click on the link in this article to the UK retiring page and these sets are listed there. What is going on? Is this why I never learned the Town Hall was retiring a couple years ago?
So I decided that I must once again sort the ones we have and buy even more bricks even though I swore I wouldn’t buy anymore.  Then, I started asking the experts (fellow parents) how to get those darn bricks for cheap? Here’s what I got so far:
LEGO, LEGO Minecraft Micro World: The Village, 21105, 6068014, Includes Pig, Villager and the Zombie buildable Micromob figures and recreate a Minecraft world as a micro-scale LEGO model, Enjoy The Village, a new biome in the LEGO Minecraft micro-world… more
Star Wars fans are no joke. They live, breathe and would eat all-things Star Wars if they can! In 1999, LEGO started to make Star Wars sets and figures and since then, these sets have become hot items for collectors. For the past 12 years, there have been more than 200 sets, and some of them have pretty high price tags, selling for well over $1,000. Since there are too many to list, we thought we’d feature 22 of the coolest Star Wars LEGO sets around!

I kept the enemy at bay for a long time. I was no stranger to stepping on sharp little pointy plastic pieces in the middle of the night; I had little brothers. So, I told my sons that we were not going to have Lego.
The pile of legos included has an assortment of Lego Space pieces belonging to the mentioned sets and OTHER LEGOLAND SET PIECES of the same era. 6980 Galaxy Commander set. Lego Ideas magazine (incompl…
There’s no magic here. You buy something, it goes up in value (if you buy the right thing), and then you sell it. As Maciorowski explains it: “This is no different from the stock market.” Or the shoe market. Except you’re buying Legos instead of shares of Nike (or actual Nikes). At the same time, the Lego market is different from a lot of postconsumer markets. These aren’t Beanie Babies. Some Lego sets sell for upwards of $6,000 or $7,000. And they’re not just going to magically be worth practically nothing overnight, as happened to the Jerry Garcia Beanie Baby.
More of an architectural marvel than an actual play-thing, the Empire’s second attempt at creating a planet-annihilator makes for a rather functional Lego set. Packaged with a display stand, this one is for the artistically minded collectors out there.
LEGO Shop has double points right now. I was browsing and noticed the points per item were doubled. They are having some kind of sale Saturday but the double points are active now. No word on how long double points will last. Hopefully they’ll announce when he give the Saturday sale.

If you are buying new, you can still reflect on the weight- a little bit at least. LEGO is so marvelously cute that it’s kind of deceptive how expensive they are – especially if you are buying sets!  Pound for pound, magnetic toys like Magnatiles (many moms will say these are pricey) are usually cheaper than LEGO sets.  Boxes of just bricks are cheaper (by the pound) but only by a little.
