“cheapest place to buy lego +discontinued lego series”

I know this because I got hit with flooding twice in the last year. On top of loosing stuff I also want stuff. Especially the Slave I. I called Lego and told them everything that was going on and how much I wanted the set. They researched what they could but in the end they just don’t have that information very far in advance. They did send me an email letting me know that based on how long it has been out I probably have time.
The LEGO 71042 Silent Mary is an impressive pirate ship from Disney’s Pirates of the Caribbean movie. It features a hinged bow section, opening skeleton hull with decay and destruction detailing, movable rudder, collapsible main mast, and two further masts.… Continue Reading →
At this point, you’ll want to review each one to make sure the shipping charges are not inflated.  If they are, then delete the lot from your page.  I usually estimate the shipping by the pounds of the Legos being sold.  If you’re looking at a 100 lb. lot, then the shipping should not be $200.  It should be closer to $100.  If it’s 20 lbs., the shipping will be somewhere in the ballpark of $20.  If the seller has listed the shipping at $50 for 20 lbs., then more than likely, they’ve inflated their prices.  When you are finished, you’ll have narrowed down your search to reputable sellers who are fair and honorable.
I kept the enemy at bay for a long time. I was no stranger to stepping on sharp little pointy plastic pieces in the middle of the night; I had little brothers. So, I told my sons that we were not going to have Lego.

A couple of tips I’ve picked up – watch postage fees! When putting together an order I make sure I keep the postage cost per part to a minimum. I start the uncommon parts a seller has, then using the cheapest/common parts I need, bulk up the order so that the number of parts makes the postage per part tiny.

Recreate the iconic Star Wars scene in Revenge ofthe Sith with Emperor Palpatine and Mace Windu. This RARE set includes 5 NEW HARD-TO-FIND MINIFIGURES: Mace Windu, Chancellor Palpatine, Kit Fisto, Ana…
When I go to the US retiring page, all I get are bionicle sets and stuff, none of the items listed here. Then I click on the link in this article to the UK retiring page and these sets are listed there. What is going on? Is this why I never learned the Town Hall was retiring a couple years ago?
After calculating the price for the entire set, you can now order all the pieces by price so you can see which are the ones causing the greater damage. So, for my example, the UCS Millennium Falcon still costs US$ 3800. We’re now US$ 2600 down from the original price, but still, a lot of money.

LEGO Star Wars celebrates its 15th anniversary this year, and some of my next few Collecting the Galaxy blog posts will be devoted to looking back at the history of the mashup franchise. In the first of these LEGO Star Wars-inspired blogs we look at the period between 1999 and 2005, which takes in the releases of the prequels and the first original trilogy sets, too.
So like mentioned above, if you want Lego to keep making sets then keep buying loads of them… But usually most runs go for about 2-3 years before being discontinued (unless it is specifically for a retail outlet (like the Helicopter and limo sets for walmart) then I am guessing it is as many as that store wants to buy and make and lego maybe matches that, who knows
