“big lego sets cheap +lego collectible minifigures value”

➡ LEGO SETS RETIRING SOON: There are several LEGO Star Wars sets that are getting retired to give room for the 2015 LEGO Star War sets. Some of the highlights include the #75018 LEGO Star Wars Jek-14’s Stealth Starfighter, the #75019 LEGO Star Wars AT-TE, the #75022 LEGO Star Wars Mandalorian Speeder, the #75039 LEGO Star Wars V-wing Starfighter, and the #9493 LEGO Star Wars X-Wing Starfighter. None of them are listed for sale, just that they are retiring soon. In my experience if and when sets like this do go on sale they disappear so fast you will likely miss them. So if you are interested in any of these sets I would suggest you get them now before they are gone. You can find them all at the Retiring Soon section of the Online LEGO Shop.
Princess Leia’s ship contains a “modest” 1,748 pieces and any rebel fighter would die to keep it out of the hands of Darth Vader. It was released in 2001 for $199.99 it’s now retired and goes for just shy of $1,000 at auction. Let qui-gons be bygones and add this iconic ship to your collection today!
LEGO Friends- City Park Cafe – Frown all you want at the pink but be aware that there are lots of special little pieces here like a cash register, money, broom, salt and pepper shaker  (awwww), forks, knives!  Check out curvy glass panels! Wow! You could rebuild this into many things!
So I decided that I must once again sort the ones we have and buy even more bricks even though I swore I wouldn’t buy anymore.  Then, I started asking the experts (fellow parents) how to get those darn bricks for cheap? Here’s what I got so far:
Features a tough front winch, roll cage, chunky ti Use the tough front winch to get out of tough spot Technic elements to develop your building skills Ride the rough stuff with the chunky tires Desert Racer measures over 3 (8cm) high, 6 (17cm) long… more
Carbon Freezing Chamber (75137):  Another iconic moment in the Star Wars universe captured perfectly on a small scale.  Boba Fett and Han are here (along with Ugnaught) to recreate the freezing scene.
About the previous post I made.  You did mention that the Star Destroyer you typed about was the 6211 set, but that’s the small set, the picture you have is of the big star destroyer, which is an Ultimate Collector Series set.  That’s the over 3,000 piece set.  So I guess right description, just wrong picture.   =D
The components come down to “what’s in the box?”  This is an important aspect of any Lego set, but arguably even more so in a licensed theme like Star Wars.  As a fan of the movies, you know the sets before you start building them.  Sets which have the perfect balance of nostalgia and just plain cool features will inevitably rise to the top for us.  For more info and reviews please visit our friends at Ninja Brick and read their Star Wars reviews.
I was sorting through our stash this month and I was greatly disappointed in seeing how only a small minority of them are actual bricks. (Our stash weighs approximately 20 lbs!)  Really, it’s embarrassing and moreover, it’s frustrating because I have two kids at home, one who is quite LEGO proficient and the other is not so proficient.

Is there a good site to keep track of the soon to be retired sets? I know that when the new modular comes out each January, one usually retires to be replaced by it. Was that the case this year? Closest I see is maybe the pet shop or that other similar sized one, but wasn’t sure those were in the ‘modular’ bucket.
All sets include listed lego pieces, characters, and instruction manuals. All sets have been gone through using the building manuals. All pieces are included to the best of our knowledge. Some sets ma…
Design: This set uses a modular design. If you follow the instructions, you get eight distinct modules, four above ground and four below ground. You can arrange these in dozens of different ways to create tiny cave networks and a multi-layered effect. The caves have several different kinds of hidden resources that you can only see when you take the top layer off. The overall effect of the design is a pretty good representation of the Minecraft world.
How odd about the opera house. The bridge has been out forever and is still being made. The opera house is much younger. I wanted to buy it but I don’t think I’ll be able to if it retires so soon. Boo.
