“big lego sets |cancelled lego sets”

Rare part design is typically specialized pieces. Minifigures are the biggest rare part design in most sets due to unique prints. Other candidates are special doors/windows, animals, hoses and printed elements. At least these are the parts that have been rare for me and didn’t have in my collection. You should have a general knowledge of what is in your own spare parts collection, and also look for things that appear to be unique to the set.
When you have more than 50 sets, storage is a huge issue. Don’t be tempted to cobble together a solution. Start with strong shelving and new boxes to save lots of time and keep your sets looking good. Brook Johnson will show you how he stores his sets, shows you part of his Lego library, and tells you what is “retiring soon.”
We started getting ready for our day and I told him now he could open the last gift under the tree. He opened it up and it was a Lego sorting box. He was thankful, but when I told him, “I thought you’re going to need it for this.” and I brought the BIG box out of the other room. He was speechless! One of those priceless moments!
It comes with 24 minifigures and several versions of your favorites, which allows you to reenact the most iconic scenes in any one of the numerous backdrops on board the Death Star. And there are many.
@myscrnnm: On most tape-sealed LEGO boxes there is a printed production run code on one of the seals, e.g. XXS6 with XX being the week of production, with S being Europe and 6 being 2016 (or 2006). On glued boxes the code is embossed or, since recently on some sets, printed.
As you can see, there are lots of sets on sale right now to clear out older stock. What do you think? Are you finding some interesting sets on sale that you would like to build? Or are you mostly looking at sets for interesting parts? What are you planning to get? Feel free to share and discuss in the comment section below! 😉
Michelle, not a silly question at all. LEGO automatically chooses your region based on your shipping address, and while it is possible to change your region just to see what is available in other regions, once you start shopping, the region will change back to your own.

Conclusion: If you can get it for MSRP of $34.99, it’s a buy. I wouldn’t suggest paying collectible prices, as LEGO will undoubtedly be producing more of these, and will probably create different Minecraft sets in the near future. At least I hope they do. I would love to add more modules to this set, and I’ll be interested to see tiny zombies, skeletons, and mob animals.
Use this method to minimize damage. This method is more time-consuming than others, unless the LEGO only has minor dust and dirt. Use this for your favorite or most collectible LEGO, to keep them safe from accidental damage.

My youngest child recently became a Lego fanatic (as am I). She was already enthralled by the Harry Potter books and movies, so the discovery that two of her favorite things were now combined (and just before Christmas, too) gave birth to a new obsession. Unfortunately, Lego stopped making Harry Potter Lego sets last year.

At the International Toy Fair in New York in February 1999, LEGO and Lucasfilm announced LEGO Star Wars to the invited press. Originally licensed until 2008, it has been extended several times — first until 2011, then 2016, and in 2012 the license was extended until 2022.
Would’ve given it full stars, except there are translucent window pieces that are the most annoying Lego pieces ever… We can’t tell if we had done missing pieces or if they were just lost because they are practically invisible lol!

Later, I found the Town Hall and from what I saw online I LOVED the set, and therefore bought it. I recently just built both sets and now I am hooked on the modular buildings. I’ve limited myself to exclusively collecting them (with only a couple cheats allowed on the side). I picked up the Palace Cinema this weekend and will now go in order from there buying the Persian Restaurant in January with some Christmas money and then the Detective’s Office later next year.
The F40 is more of a collectors set than an actual toy to play with, making it ideal for adults to destress and decompress with Lego sets after a difficult day at the office. Unlike the Capitol Building set, Ferrari’s F40 probably isn’t so much a learning experience to share with your children, though if you’re looking to teach your children about the history of non-American sports cars, it’s an excellent entry and might interest the racecar lover in your life. We really love the F40 set from Lego; it’s small, but complex enough to keep you busy for hours and hours. It doesn’t come at a cheap price, but if you can afford to drop a pretty penny on Lego sets, this is a fine one to add to your collection—or to gift to the gearhead in your life.

Update edit: The pieces arrived about 30 minutes after this review was posted. They took 2 weeks as stated. I’d give this product 5 stars but for the glitch, and now the glitch seems to have been resolved. The delivery of the missing pieces from Legos was free of charge, of course.
This a great toy for kids from ages 3 to 49. 49 year old like to put it together and the 3 year old like to move the pieces and push it around. 3 yr old also finds it interesting, since when you pull it back it rolls forward. 3 yr old has dropped it a few times, didn’t come apart like many of the other Legos (I don’t know why)
Rock Em’ Sock’Em Robots: Batman vs. Superman is a fun game for children, recommended for ages 6 – 15, who also loved the Batman vs. Superman movie as it’s inspired by the film! Your favorite two superheros star in the classic Rock Em’ Sock’Em game making it even more fun and thrilling for everyone involved.
New building techniques introduced with this set include a systematic way of building numbers. On the front of the building the year 1932 appears, which is a reference to when LEGO was founded. The number 3 also appears on the pavement of the set representing that this is the 3rd set on the series from Lego set designer Jamie Berard (he had previously designed Café Corner and Green Grocer).[15]
Safety first. On the cinema, I think it looks better in build (love the roof) than in the picture. Also, how could one live as a Lego builder without “Forever Sorting” Lighting it up (BrickLoot) really adds a lot, too. The BrickLoot lighting for the bank really really makes the model, imho. And, no, I do not work for Brickloot, but I am really glad I decided to experiment with lighting

So I skipped the sets for Christmas and bought him two large sets of just legos. He opened them and shrugged. We moved them into a large flat rectangular rubbermaid tote and his eyes gleamed. He went onto the sun porch on the wood floor, and went to building. He built cars, rockets, planes, houses and forts for four hours. Add a few minifigures to his lego bucket and I have one contented kid.
LEGO sets provide a terrifically challenging way to kill time. The challenges are endless, from the point of purchase to the finished product itself. Can you actually afford a big LEGO set? Can your patience handle the job of constructing it? Can you tell all the tiny bits apart? Can you resist a snooze on the sofa for long enough to finish the job? And, after all is said and done, can you find a spare inch of shelf space to proudly display the damn thing?
I’ve tried to design and build with the following quote in mind; Parisian Café (2014) : “It is one of the first Modular Buildings to really evolve the concept to a new level of storytelling and detailing.” – Jamie Berard, LEGO® Design Manager Specialist.
Ride The Scuttler with Batman to rescue hostages taken by The Joker at Commissioner Gordons retirement party, with this exciting set from THE LEGO® BATMAN MOVIE. The highly posable Scuttler features a net shooter, six stud shooters, extendable arms, an opening minifigure cockpit and hidden jetpack for Batman. Batman is also equipped with a Batarang to take on The Joker, Poison Ivy and her vine monster. Includes six minifigures.
In 1989, the LEGO pneumatic line was revamped, and a new cylinder and pump piece were introduced. The old cylinders and pumps were discontinued. The chief difference is that the new cylinder had two input valves now, which allowed both pushing and pulling without needing complex circuits involving the distribution block piece. The Generation 2 cylinders also had metal rods so that they more closely resembled real hydraulic cylinders.
Parisian Restaurant (set number 10243) is the ninth set in the Modular Building line and was released in January 2014 at a MSRP of US$159/149€. This set contains 2469 pieces and has a fully stocked, blue and white tiled kitchen with tableware serving two interior tables, two street-side tables (on a patio tiled in a subtle design with the word “CHEZ”), and two upper terrace tables. On the first upper floor (terrace level) is as an apartment with pull-down Murphy bed, kitchenette and fireplace. On the top floor is the artist’s studio that includes a cast iron heater, easel, paintbrush and two works of Mondrian-style Modernist art. Outside the upper floor stairs lead down to the roof terrace for diners lined with hanging lanterns and flowers. This set also includes hard-to-find white croissants and brick elements in olive green, dark blue and dark red. Advanced exterior details include façade with croissant detailing, sidewalk, bench, scooter and even a dumpster and trash can at the back.
Select all the pieces by pressing Cmd(or Control)-A and then go to Edit > Price > Set to Price Guide. Just select the Average of the Last 6 months Sales, and you’re done (for the second time). Now you have all the pieces required plus the price to order them.
Technic sets are often characterised by the presence of special pieces, such as gears, axles, and pins. Other special pieces include beams and plates with holes in them, through which the axles could be installed.[2] Some sets also come with pneumatic pieces or electric motors. In recent years, Technic pieces have begun filtering down into other Lego sets as well, including the BIONICLE sets (which were once sold as part of the Technic line), as well as a great many others.

Market Street is a unique set in the Modular Buildings series in that it has fewer than 2000 pieces and is recommended for builders 10 years and up rather than the usual 16. One of the reasons this set was smaller than the others was to provide a lower cost entry point into the Modular Buildings series.[10] Also, until 2018’s Downtown Diner, it was the only ostensible Modular Building set to have minifigures that didn’t all bear the classic-smile-only face.
I completely understand your point Rabbit, and your right, I do like that sets hold their value, and even increase over time. Being an adult and having extra money affords me the benefit of buying more than most. As a collector though, and having no intention of ever selling, I could care less if everyone had every set. I do it to relax and enjoy, not for profit. Again, I am not knocking those that do it for profit but there are many sides to every discussion. So to sum up, for me I wouldnt mind sets being more readily available.
I think you would have to look at it in an entrepreneur/business man’s point of view to understand it. If people aren’t buying enough of the sets to keep a good profit after a few years, Lego might find that they would make more money using the same pieces if they were to discontinue the set and release a new one people would buy more of. If you already have an old set that is still on the market, there wouldn’t be much point in buying a second or third. (assuming its for personal use.)

Arkham Asylum is a fantastic set. Absolutely! I think almost any set that you want to include that “fits” modular building works. I don’t want to say it, but in some cases, even Olivia’s House might be ok.
Also known as Dark Shark II or Black Skull, this Lego set is pretty detailed as the aftcastle can be accessed by opening its sidewalls as well as detaching a piece of the poop deck. You can also move the rudder by turning the steering wheel! One customer wrote, “…there is no set that can beat the Skull’s Eye Schooner.” This set is definitely in the running to be one of the best Lego sets because it has a plethora of cool features such as a compass next to the steering wheel and an odd postbox where you can find a glass and a gun.
The devil’s in the detail with this one. To build a Millennium Falcon this textured and detailed, you have to piece together 5,197 bricks. Other LEGO versions of the fastest hunk of junk in the galaxy have been and gone over the years, but this is by far the most visually stunning. The price tag might stun you as well, since it’s a discontinued item…

“where to buy cheap lego sets -lego 7052”

Notable features: Lego’s “Ultimate Collector’s Millennium Falcon” is the largest Star Wars set and the second-largest Lego set ever made. It features Lego figures of Luke Skywalker, Hans Solo, Princess Leia, Chewbacca, and Obi-Wan Kenobi.
You could’ve felt the call while you were a kid, or during your mid-thirties. It doesn’t matter when you started your LEGO Star Wars collection, there’s are a number of sets that you definitely love collecting, because they’re emblematic in a sense, because they’re just beautiful to build and display, or simply because everybody has one and now you have to (sometimes it works for me).
Relive the ultimate betrayal in Cloud City with this rare LEGO Star Wars set. Lando is ready to turn our heroes over to the dark side! Don’t worry, when you build it, you can make the story go however you please. This 698 piece set will leave you frozen in disbelief (thankfully not in Carbonite!) at how cool it is. Get your hands on this set before Boba Fett does!
With no new film in 2003, the number of sets released was reduced to 20 of which 8 were MINI sets (in plastic boxes) featuring iconic Star Wars vehicles from the five films released to date.  Four of these sets came as two packs featuring matched pairs of vehicles such as X-wing Fighter & Tie Advanced (#4484), Sebulba’s Podracer & Anakin’s Podracer (#4485), AT-ST & Snowspeeder (#4486) and Jedi Starfighter & Slave I (#4487) — each one of these sets included extra pieces to create a TIE Bomber. The other four Mini sets featured larger vehicles such as the Millennium Falcon (#4488) and AT-AT (#4489). 2003 also saw the release of the largest minifigure to date — Jabba the Hutt — as part of the Jabba’s Palace set (#4480) and also the first large scale AT-AT (#4483). Two USC were also released during the year, the Rebel Snowspeeder (#10129) and the elusive Cloud City set (#10123), the latter of which includes a uniquely printed Boba Fett minifigure which is very hard to find (and one of the few sets I still don’t own).
Also includes Luke Skywalker, Han Solo, Obi-Wan Kenobi, C-3PO, R2-D2, Princess Leia, Chewbacca, Luke Skywalker (Jedi Knight), Darth Vader, Grand Moff Tarkin, Emperor Palpatine, 2 Stormtroopers, 2 Emperor’s Royal Guards, R2-Q5, and mouse droid!.
The palace build itself is divided into sections, each of which has its own polybagged pieces, making it easier to find the pieces you need (and to limit the mess created, if you’re a parent who cares about such things). The build itself is quite straightforward, mixing regular Lego System elements with a few Technic parts. It is interesting and enjoyable without being challenging. Like most current-generation Lego sets, there are lots of fine, thoughtful details that you’ll notice while you’ll building the set, but which aren’t easily seen once it’s completed — evidence of excellent design quality (and if you’re a parent, a good reason why you should let your kids built the set themselves rather than being tempted to do it for them).

This is a great purchase. It didn’t take me too long to build it, just an hour or two, and it was bigger than I thought. It was fun creating the drawbridge and the steel gate, I think that this is a great addition to have.

This is an HD video tutorial on how to use Bricklink to buy the individual pieces for a retired Lego set for a much better price than you can find on eBay or Amazon. The example I use in this video is for Lego Technic 8275. This 2007 set retailed for $150 and was discontinued in March 2008. The set costs over $650 on third party sites. However, when one strategically selects used parts from Bricklink the set can be built as designed by Lego for pennies on the dollar compared to third party website prices. In my example, I was able to obtain 95% of the required parts from one seller for a cost of $150… not bad considering on eBay it was going for $750 and over $800 on Amazon.

From her crown to her torch, The Statue of Liberty is an iconic monument and symbol of freedom from tyranny, financial hardship, and suffering for many immigrants since the late 1800’s. She was given to the United States by France on October 28, 1886 as a gift for the centennial of the American Declaration of Independence.
According to the LEGO Star Wars designer Hans Burkhard Schlömer (aka BrickCommander), the first wave of LEGO Rogue One: A Star Wars Story sets will be retiring before the end of 2017.  The designer has revealed the news in the comment… Continue Reading →
You can’t actually build your Star Wars Super Star Destroyer. These sets need to stay unopened and untouched to build value. And whatever you do, don’t stack them on top of each other—that will mess up the boxes. Creased corners mean lower prices. Stack them vertically as you would books on a bookshelf.
Two Lego Mindstorms sets have been released before 2002. The first set featured R2-D2 which can also be converted into a Battle Droid on a STAP and a Treadwell droid. It is called the Droid Developer Kit and was Released in 1999, numbered 9748, and contains 657 pieces. The second set was an AT-AT which can also be converted into a Destroyer Droid and Droid Starfighter (walking mode). It is called Dark Side Developer Kit and was released later in 2000, numbered 9754, and it contains 578 pieces.
About the previous post I made.  You did mention that the Star Destroyer you typed about was the 6211 set, but that’s the small set, the picture you have is of the big star destroyer, which is an Ultimate Collector Series set.  That’s the over 3,000 piece set.  So I guess right description, just wrong picture.   =D
“Holy Lego set, Batman!” as Robin would probably say following the purchase of this awe-inspiring Lego set. This Lego set is one of the best around, with an array of detailed pieces and intricate designs. Some of the pieces included in the set are Alfred the Butler, Batman (black suit), Bruce Wayne, Robin, Mr. Freeze (with complete weapon assembly), Mr. Freeze’s Henchman, The Penguin, Robin’s jet-ski, the Batblade ice sledge, and the Penguin’s submarine.
When searching for bulk Legos for resale, do a search for “Lego pounds” or “Lego lbs” or “Bulk Lego”, etc.  If a lot looks good, check the seller’s feedback.  If it is 100%, mark the lot as an item to be watched (you’ll find the link in the upper right corner of the listing).  Once you have five or six lots, go to your “My Ebay” page.  The lots will be listed there.
Finally, when it comes to minifigures, look them up both completely assembled as well as in parts. Often a very rare minifigure that may go for $20 assembled can be bought for less than half that price in parts. I typically create a second Wanted List for this very purpose to make searching easier. Also, some LEGO fans who piece together sets don’t even care about the minifigs. For example if you are setting up a street with multiples of the same LEGO Modular Building, you may only need one set of the minifigures.
This is not a set you could win in a card game, no matter how drunk Lando gets. It’s the rarest set in this or any Galaxy. Han Solo himself would need several weeks to build the 5,195 piece Millennium Falcon, even with the giant bound instruction guide. May the force be with you if you decide to add this ship to your LEGO Star Wars collection because you’ll need $10,000 to own it.
Legos in a complete set, who knew?. We had Legos as kids back in the ’60s & 70s. We would buy the blocks in very small sets as our allowance would slowly accumulate. My younger brother over time made some absolutely incredible creations using a mishmash of block sizes and styles. We would have wet our pants with happiness to receive an integrated SET. And this one is fantastic, especially being a Star Wars fan, having seen the original Star Wars movie in college over and over again…. Well worth the cost, and glad I have this set!!
It is 100% complete with all minifigs, weapons, and accessories, as well as the instruction manual. The cover to the manual has separated from the rest of the pages and some of the pages are “split” d…
As you can see, there are lots of sets sale right now to clear out older stock. What do you think? Are you finding some interesting sets on sale that you would like to build? Or are you mostly looking at sets for interesting parts? What are you planning to get? Feel free to share and discuss in the comment section below! 😉
Also, when it is a line of products people who got into the game late will want to purchase the earlier models. If you just found out about Fire Brigade and Emporium, you looked into it and found out about Cafe Corner being an earlier set in the line, you’d might really want to get one.
If you haven’t collected all of the Rogue One sets you want, now is a good time to start. LEGO designer Hans Burkhard Schlömer noted that the sets for the first Star Wars standalone film are getting discontinued.
If they re-release sets that gained worth, that won’t do them a favor i think. Some sets i only bought because i hope they gain worth. If they start re-releasing everything good, i won’t do that anymore.
What sets are the pieces from? – If you know your pieces came from specific sets, mention this in the description. If you have any instruction booklets, these can be a clue as to where the parts came from.
Even on eBay you will have several options, depending on how much money you hope to make and how much work you are willing to do. If you take apart the sets, clean them, verify all the original pieces are present, re-pack them into bags and the original boxes with original instructions, you can make significantly more than if you just take a picture of the bulk lot and say “what you see is what you get”.

“lego set with most pieces |lego retiring soon 2016”

LEGO Friends is of course not retiring as a theme as it is highly popular, however several of the individual sets are to give room to the new wave next year. The #3185 LEGO Friends Summer Riding Camp is a particularly nice set and it is listed for half price, and so is the #3186 LEGO Friends Emma’s Horse Trailer. You can’t go wrong with these sets as they are super sweet and have great resale value as well. You can fine them at the Retiring Soon section of the Online LEGO Shop.
“Note that this chart and the lists below contain large Star Wars sets that may not have been officially designated as UCS sets — such as 10188 Death Star and 10236 Ewok Village — but rather than debate the semantics of the UCS moniker, we have opted to simply include all large, exclusive Star Wars sets from 2007 onwards.”
If, like me, you were at elementary/primary school when you first saw Star Wars then a very good possibility that, also like me and my peers, you grew up playing with LEGO. My bedroom floor was literally carpeted with LEGOs, and I built makeshift dioramas out of it so that I could create some of my favorite moments from the film(s) with my Star Wars action figures from Kenner/Palitoy.
One way to find value for money on eBay is to buy loose lots of bulk Lego. Zoom in on the photos on eBay to see if there are any pieces/sets/figures you can recognize, and be prepared to bid $10 a pound (or more) for the lot. (Non-Harry Potter Lego tends to go for around $5 a pound.) Sometimes, you might notice most of a set or several great figures amid a sea of random Legos. The question is, whether your child would want the bulk parts to build things from their imagination or only be interested in the exact sets with instructions. If you were so inclined, you could buy the large lots, remove the parts/mini-figure you really wanted and resell the rest on eBay. That’s rather time-consuming. (Although to be fair, searching eBay and the internet at large for discontinued Harry Potter Lego sets is a time-consuming process, if you want to find value for money.)
It’s not the most expensive set on the list, but the clue to why you would want one is right there in the title. Actually the second version of the hulking quadruped snow-tank, this walking All-Terrain Armoured Transport battery-powered set is quite rare, but the open-top cockpit and grappling line for Luke’s classic lightsaber take-down make it worth the asking price.
So if you have any LEGO sets to sell you can contact Brian and his team and see what you can work out. I have also added a quick banner-link to the sidebar on the right (the bright-green box) to reach Brian’s LEGO buying page and regularly updated LEGO Buy List. The UCS Sandcrawler was just released two years ago! I think that UCS sets should stay around for at least 4-5 years so people who don’t have $400 right away can save up. As for the others, I don’t have WALL-E yet, so I might need to act quickly (even though my brother has it). Thanks for the news!

If they re-release sets that gained worth, that won’t do them a favor i think. Some sets i only bought because i hope they gain worth. If they start re-releasing everything good, i won’t do that anymore.
Clean your LEGO pieces. You don’t need to scrub each piece, but a quick wash in warm water and dish soap will add value to your LEGO lot. Put them in a storage tub with enough warm water to cover them. Add some soap and stir them around a bit. Let them soak a while and stir them a few more times. Drain, rinse, and spread them out on a towel to air dry. Stir them up a few times on the towel so the water drains better. Mention in your listing that you have cleaned them. If you have no pets or smokers in your home, mention this as well.
In order to hold the pieces I pull for the project, I typically use a sturdy zip-lock style bag. I actually found the two gallon variety works amazingly well for large sets. As I go through the list, I’m either clicking the delete box when I have all the pieces or I’m moving the quantity I still need into the comment box from the minimum quantity wanted. The reason for this move has to do with how BrickLink functions. If you keep the amount only in the minimum quantity wanted box, it only shows that element if that quantity is reached in a particular store. So even if the store has some of the pieces you need, it will not show up if you have the minimum quantity box filled with a higher number. Unlike the minimum quantity box, the comment box is only a brief note. So no matter how many pieces a store has, their inventory will show up in your search results. And the nice thing is that your note will also show right under where you would indicate how much of each piece you want.

I can see now that the most pricey element is the Certificate of Authenticity, for a whooping US$ 800. Let’s remove that, I’m not creating an authentic piece. Next it’s a Sticker Set for the Falcon holder, at US$ 170. Let’s get rid of that.
The LEGO Architecture Skyline Collection opens a window to the most incredible cityscapes from around the globe. Choose between the heady heights of NYC, the neo-gothic grandeur of London, the show-stopping curves of Sydney, the romance of Venice, or the bold originality of Chicago.
It may seem bad now that 6/9 modulars are gone, but if you can get one of the retired ones (some stores may have some on hand), you could potentially have half of all the modulars since the Detective’s Office will make it an even 10. If you’re not irritated about missing the first few, I wouldn’t worry about missing a good chunk of them. Personally, I have nothing before FB and I would only pay original list price for any of the ones before it.
If you go to an item’s catalog page (for example, here’s the Fire Brigade’s Page), click “Part out” under On Wanted Lists:. Un-check notify by email and check “Set My Minimum Desired Qty for each Item to Qty of Items in Inventory”, add in a wanted list name, then Submit for Edit, Verify Items, and finally upload items. When you go to a store and search for items under this wanted list, Bricklink will display which items the store has and how many you need. After you check out, it will give you an option to remove the items you purchased from the store from your wish list.
Ah, no wonder why those 3 modular sets have been going up in market prices. Where I live, their prices at least doubled from their suggested retail prices. You’ll still get ripped using the auction sites, thanks to the shortage of supplies.
As of 2005, Lego has begun to re-incorporate studded bricks back into the Technic line, which can be seen in sets such as 8421 (found on Peeron), Mobile Crane. However, studded bricks are used primarily as to mount front grills in vehicles while transparent plates are used for lights.

It’s interesting though, for example, doing a little research on the Modular Buildings, it looks like the average active selling life per set is about 2+ years. Strange that Market Street’s life was “cut short”. Not sure about the average life for SW, HP or the rest.
LEGO Technic is a subset of LEGO System that, although 100% compatible with standard LEGO Bricks, is based on beams and pegs instead of studded components. The whole point of LEGO Technic is about creating complex, realistic, working machines like the one in this Top Ten List…
The Market Steet (set # 10190) is the rarest and, currently, the most expensive of all of the modular buildings. This is due in part to the initial confusion surrounding its release. Market Street was released as a “Factory” model based on a hobby builder’s concept. Most people did not think it was really a part of the modular series. By the time Lego had made it abundantly clear that it was, it was retired and already hard to procure. Like the Cafe Corner, the Market Street set does not come furnished, which like the Cafe Corner is not too much of a drawback if you are able to furnish it yourself. Yet, the Market Street set is substantially smaller than the other sets in the series; however, the two “sides” (like the Pet Shop) are separable, so you can really mix up the look and feel of your street with this one.

For Lego collectors seeking the best and most expensive Lego sets, this set is one to get your hands on. One customer wrote, “This is my favorite so far. It was great seeing this fully [built] and sitting majestically on the cabinet. My friend suggested it may need some lights. Next time I put it together I may try adding a few light bricks inside so there will be a bit of a glow from it.” He may be referencing the fact that the Taj Mahal takes on different hues according to the time of the day; a pinkish color in the morning, a milk white in the evening, and a golden color at night.
These sets are still built – we built them originally over a year ago. And my sons still play with them occasionally. We enjoyed building these so much, and the time spent with my sons building them was so fun I am having trouble finding the strength to take them apart! (I am sure someone out there can relate).

2. We called Lego tech support and they knew almost immediately what was missing. They were also very good about it. It’s a bag of pieces that they have to send from Denmark and it takes two weeks to deliver. We are still waiting.
Everyone has to start somewhere and having/not having some modulate is what makes everyone’s street layout unique. If the Fire Brigade and Grand Emporium were still available at retail, I would probably pick them up. But at $300+ for the Fire Brigade and $200+ for the Grand Emporium; to me it’s just not worth it, and that’s okay.
3. Bane – This will definitely be a hot minifig when the new movie comes out this Summer. He looks great. Lots of detail, including the back printing. Not my favorite Batman villain, but nice to have.
LEGO 10243 Parisian Restaurant came out in January 2014 as the ninth modular building. The unique design of this set features more intricate detailing throughout, at the expense of the overall size of the building, which is smaller than previous modulars.
In ten years, Lego has recovered from the brink of bankruptcy to a blockbuster movie and strong sales. Lego Designer Mark Stafford recently took to Reddit to offer some insight on what went wrong in the first place and how the Danish toy company turned it around.
If you haven’t checked out Lego sets since you were a kid, you might be pleased to know they just aren’t for children anymore. Just like puzzle sets, there are a ton of Lego sets that are created and reproduced for a teenage or adult audience, those capable of handling the small details and thousands of pieces included in each set. These aren’t small, hundred-piece sets: they’re incredibly challenging, with long manuals and tons of pieces. Some are incredibly difficult to build without the focus and attention that comes with adulthood, while others include pneumatics and other moving parts that are challenging to children to create and enable. Some of them are even themed to suit adults, those of us who have interests in cars or architecture.
I mainly collect Technic and Star Wars sets, but I’ve always admired the detail in the modular buildings. Is it worth getting into the modular buildings now that I can no longer get the Town Hall, Emporium, etc. without paying ridiculous prices? I’m not that bothered by missing out on the grocer or firehouse or stuff like that, but the look of the town hall kind of ties a downtown area together and the emporium gave a shopping district. Anyone know if LEGO plans on continuing this series for a long time? Missing 3-4 of buildings won’t be a huge deal if we know that there are going to be 5 or 10 more released in the future.
I’ve tried to make it a challenging interesting build with plenty of S.N.O.T. (studs not on top) building on the buildings facade.  There are lots of Lego Technic elements integral to the structure and the 1st floor stairwell is supported by Bionicle elements.

This set has incredible detail, and is fun to build. I built this set (Dad), and each of my boys built the other two (Fire Brigade and Pet Shop) . The build was enjoyable, and it was fun to watch them come together. in fact, we enjoyed it so much, that we started building the sets on a Sunday morning together, and we all stayed with it until the sets were done a few hours later. It was a fun family project.
For all the pluses, however, there are a few negatives. The back is very plain, for example, and would have benefited greatly from a ladder or bicycle rack, like sets #7639 and #4435. I would have loved to see the top swing open as well, instead of clicking on. Also, even with the top removed and the side swung open, maneuvering minifigs around the vehicle can be challenging, especially in the front. To get a minifig in the driver’s seat, I not only had to pop off the top of the camper but also remove the windshield. (But then, again, I have adult-sized hands instead of the child-sized ones this set was designed for.) I also would have liked to have seen two seats up front, so that both minifigs could sit in the cab, like in a real RV. Also, it’s a bit of a nit-pick, but the front wheel wells are a third-tile higher than the back wheel wells. It might seem minor, but it’s one of those things that you can’t unsee once you realize it (which you do pretty quickly as you’re putting the thing together yourself), and just breaks up a little that beautiful green line running down the side.

There are several venues to sell LEGO – Craigslist, eBay, BrickLink or even running a garage-sale are some of them. However if you don’t have the time to do the selling yourself, you can take advantage of the services of Brian Semling, owner of Brian’s Toys. Here is what Brian wanted to let our readers know about what he can offer to LEGO fans who desire to sell:
Off topic, but does anyone else want Lego Hunger Games, with the movie coming out yesterday and all? I guess it’s not a good idea, because little kids can’t associate the right sadness or thought that the story requires, while they’re playing with a Lego set. I still want them, but my own Lego versions of the characters will suffice.

As one of the most iconic vehicles form the OG Star Wars movies, you have to have the AT-AT walker as part of your collection. Released in 2010, the 815-piece set comes with 8 minifigures like Luke Skywalker, C-3PO, Han Solo in Echo base gear, Rebel Trooper with P-Tower laser cannon, AT-AT pilot, 2 Snowtroopers, General Veers and Imperial Officer.

Unfortunately I’ve never seen Legos sold (bricks or sets) at any garage sales or thrift stores around here or I would have snatched them up. My mother had saved my original set so we started with that. My daughter loves the little Lego Friends figurines. We’ve successfully bought a couple of times off eBay. I think only once was it missing one of the pieces (not evident unless you consulted the manual). Let friends know you’re interested in Legos – sometimes they’re downsizing and will hand them off for free or a great price. When you do have to buy new, watch for sales throughout the year; we snagged a larger Lego Friends set at Target way back in September. It was a one-day only 40% off special.
If you’ve a pocket full of change, you might want to empty it out, as you could be in for some very good news. The LEGO is an impressive pirate ship from Disney’s Pirates of the Caribbean movie. It features a hinged bow section, opening skeleton hull with decay and destruction detailing, movable rudder, collapsible main mast, and two further masts. Other features include a long bowsprit with crow’s nest and mast, tattered sails, detailed quarterdeck, plus a rowboat with two oars. Weapons include two gray swords, three black swords, a pistol and the Silent Mary Masthead’s shield and sword elements. [ 332 more words ]

Michelle, not a silly question at all. LEGO automatically chooses your region based on your shipping address, and while it is possible to change your region just to see what is available in other regions, once you start shopping, the will change back to your own.
Of the four current “UCS” sets, I prefer the Slave and the TIE. I think of the other two as “play sets” and they just don’t look as cool. Of course, the higher price points of Hoth and the DS might make them rarer and better investments. However, given this is the 3rd (?) large DS model, I’m wondering if it will be all that sought after in retirement. What do you guys think?
I use savings websites/apps like Walmart Savings Catcher, IBotta, Checkout51, Microsoft Rewards (Bing Search) to earn gift cards. I then use the gift cards to purchase Lego for my son’s birthday and Christmas presents. I match the gift cards with low-price sales at Amazon, Walmart, or ToysRUs.
Agitate in soapy water. Place the separated LEGO bricks in a container. Add lukewarm water and a little dish soap or other mild detergent. Agitate the bricks gently, stirring them around with your hand.
A model like this deserves a great presentation. My first build was done inside a BiOrb (aquarium) and it was a challenge, but turned out really cool. The second build was displayed inside a terrarium from Exo-terra. The terrarium worked out much better. It has doors for easy access and interaction, and has space for the most important thing… A display turntable. Get one that can support about 7-10kg and has an AC adapter.
If you haven’t collected all of the Rogue One sets you want, now is a good time to start. LEGO designer Hans Burkhard Schlömer noted that the sets for the first Star Wars standalone film are getting discontinued.
This item may have minor scuff marks on it, but still looks very good. WARNING – LEGO pieces are intended and rated for children 5 years and up. Be advised that LEGO parts should not be swallowed as it can present a choking hazard.
Our first entry from Rogue One, Krennic’s shuttle offers a fun build of the Imperial starship belonging to the most hated character in the great Rogue One movie.  Along with a great Krennic minifiguring, you get a K-2S0 droid, two Imperial Death Troopers, Pao, and Bodhi Rook.  The attention to detail on the minifigurines is great, the K-2S0 is a personal favorite.  Our favorite part about this build is that is just looks cool.  The design is a sleek, black pyramid shape which makes it stand out even among some iconic Star Wars startships.  Being able to move the massive wings is a joy.  The ship comes with a couple of spring loaded blasters which are always a plus in our book.  The build for this set isn’t terribly long, but remains fun.  Krennic’s shuttle might not be canon in the Star Wars universe, but this is a great set and worth checking out.
That makes sense since after the movie is out of theaters I imagine the sets don’t fly off the shelves. But it really causes the prices to skyrocket on the secondary market due to the limited availability.

Great product, best suited for those age 10 and up, I would say. I bought this for my almost 6 year old son and we definitely had to help him build. The detail is amazing and product as expected, but it was overwhelming for him without lots of help. He had a blast once we were involved, but I would probably buy the Juniors versions for his age from now on, unless I plan on working on it too. He’s very proud of it though!
Not every set has to be a flashy new model. The Y-Wing proves you don’t have to be an X-Wing to be valuable. Three hours of non-stop building and 1,473 pieces later will yield you one of the longest standing fighters in the rebel fleet. Retired in 2006 no business savvy Jawa will sell it for less than $1,400.
Hm… that’s an interesting point. And very well could be. I do remember hearing that LEGO will rename the Disney Princess line to simply Disney. Looks like this is going to be a much bigger theme for LEGO, not just pink castles for girls. I expect more awesome sets on the level of the Disney Castle. But we will see… 🙂
LEGO is doing some pretty major summer clearance right now at the Online LEGO Shop, including some very nice medium to large sets that are getting retired. Below I will highlight some of the most noteworthy ones, and you can check out the rest at the Sales & Deals section of the Online LEGO Shop. Please note that once stock is out on retiring soon sets, LEGO won’t be making any more, so make sure you don’t miss out. 🙂
Boba Fett is, of course, one of the most iconic characters from the Star Wars series, quite amazing given his actual role in the original trilogy, he has taken on a folk status among fans.  Slave I is his ship and this Lego set is massive.  It’s got a bulk to it that even other large sets on our list don’t have.  It is 1996 pieces and the finished product feels incredibly sturdy.  Comparing it to the completed Tie Fighter, with its massive wings, shows a huge difference despite the sets being similar in number of pieces.  Slave I comes with four mini-figurines and a bonus Han in carbonite.  Boba Fett, Han (not in carbonite), and the Stormtrooper are all classic mini-figurines and great additions.  The final mini-figurine is a Bespin guard, fitting for the kit, but kind of a bland minifigurine within the Star Wars universe.  This set will take a few hours but remains a relatively straightforward build. The completed Slave I is one of the most eye-catching kits in the Star Wars series.  The bold green and red decoration stands at a stark contrast from the shades of black and gray most things in the Star Wars universe are comprised of.  A fun, extended build, a great massive, great looking final product, and fantastic mini-figurines, what more could you want?

“old lego star wars sets +cheap lego sets”

Sometimes even LEGO fans would like to sell their LEGO collection, or part of their collection. This may be due to not having enough room, moving, financial challenges, loosing interest in the hobby (hope not!) or just wanting to free up room for new LEGO sets. 😉
Although this set is relatively expensive for the number of pieces contained within (compared to the Lego average), the pieces tend to be larger ones, and the unique figures certainly justify the additional cost. This is a fantastic set for kids who want to re-enact the movie scene or are otherwise looking for a play-heavy set (the construction is durable and will hold up to enthusiastic play), or for Star Wars fans who want to build this set for display. If you’re going to get one current non-ship Star Wars set, this should be it. Recommended for everyone who loves Star Wars and Lego, especially if you can get this set at a discount.
For me, secondary market is a blessing. I have a chance to buy retired technic sets thanks to collectors and investors and i don’t have a problem with paying an extra cash for those sets i call it “delay tax” because i just came out of my Dark Ages.

3) Avoid generic kids’ stuff. Fire stations and police stations go on sale regularly, but Maciorowski warns they’re not typically investment winners. Steer clear of the Lego City sets, which are lemons. (Unless you’re five years old. Then they’re awesome.)
We can almost hear the imperial march playing when we see this incredible ship. The Star Destroyer UCS is Lego’s first set to contain over 3,000 pieces and at three feet long, this build is designed to make you feel as helpless as the tiny in scale Blockade Runner it comes with. This was the treatment Lord Vader’s personal flagship deserved. Dangerous and disturbing, this set is fit for the dark side of your collection. Originally released in 2002 for $299.99, the retired set goes for over $2,500.

@ Genadi, as a Lego fan my entire life and now an AFOL (adult fan of Lego) I personally ask that you don’t support organizations from foreign countries that sell cheaper replicas of Lego sets like the ones in your aliexpress link. Lego is suing these companies like Lepin, which in my opinion is a horrible unethical company, for IP infringement. Since Chinese laws are different Lego will have a hard and expensive legal battle ahead of them. Yes they are cheaper and similar, but they are not Lego so the quality is not there and they are part of the reason for Lego’s higher price. Lego files many patents to protect itself and still you get organizations like these. Sorry to be a bummer on the good deal, but to me the big picture doesn’t justify the discount. Buy used Lego’s and recondition them. They will be like new. There are a few ways to do this on the Internet. Otherwise get them on clearance or at discount stores as noted. I hope this helps.
Nothing gets us more excited then when LEGO announces a new Star Wars set. Okay, one thing does, and that’s a new movie announcement (which means more LEGO Sets!). With LEGO having built an Empire of collectible sets, it isn’t a wonder some of them are worth some serious cash.

We also offer free shipping on any spend above £35. There is also the option for an enchanced postage service, whatever the level of spend. This is certainly valuable for last minute purchases or if you want to guarantee a faster delivery. We also use stronger packaging on sets posted with an enchanced service, we hate to see box damage, especially on the rarer sets we sell.
If you have a little extra space in your display, the current christmas ornament mini models are a great scale and include a minifigure too! They can easily be suspended using fishing line. If you want a little ground display, I really like the Jabba’s Palace and Desert Skiff remake. They don’t quite fit in with the Death Star scenes, but they do compliment them to capture the best scenes of the trilogy.
So like mentioned above, if you want Lego to keep making sets then keep buying loads of them… But usually most runs go for about 2-3 years before being discontinued (unless it is specifically for a retail outlet (like the Helicopter and limo sets for walmart) then I am guessing it is as many as that store wants to buy and make and lego maybe matches that, who knows
Lego 21002 Architecture Empire State Building Build the Empire State Building! The Empire State Building joins the LEGO Architecture Landmark series of real-world construction models! Standing 7.4″ (188 mm) tall, New York City’s famous skyscraper is built from tan bricks on a striking 3.1″ (80 mm) gray and black base…
Also included are three blue and gray lion soldiers. One is equipped with a longbow, a quiver, and a helmet. Another is equipped with a helmet and a crossbow. The last has a chest plate, a large shield, a sword, and a helmet with a visor (introduced in LEGO Kingdoms Escape From Dragon’s Prison 7187).
2017 is quickly coming to an end and to make way for some of the upcoming LEGO Ideas sets including Ship In A Bottle: The Flagship Leviathan, Voltron: Defender of the Universe, and Tron Legacy Light Cycle, LEGO will soon be retiring some of the current ones that are still on store shelves. LEGO didn’t mention when they would be retired but it’s possible that it could be by the end of this year or early next year.
Now, we’re not advising you to cash in your ETFs and invest in 1,000-piece Millennium Falcon sets. But since we here at Wealthsimple are all about giving you all the information you need to make great investments (and also informing you about entertaining ways people try to make money), we sought the advice of Jeff Maciorowski, who runs the Lego-investing business Brick Picker. Here’s our novice’s guide for how to get in on the brick market, what to look for, and what the Holy Grail of all Lego sets is.

➡ #60098 LEGO CITY HEAVY-HAUL TRAIN: This set includes everything you need for a motorized LEGO train system; a heavy-haul train with 8-channel, 7-speed infrared remote control, hopper wagon, 2 flatbed wagons, helicopter, backhoe and a crane, plus 16 curved tracks, 12 straight tracks, and five minifigures. LEGO trains with a full package of LEGO Power Functions elements and the tracks are rare, and are always a great value, especially when they occasionally go on sale. Please note that this set is also marked as retiring soon. Regular Price: $199.99 – Sale price: $159.99 – BUY HERE
That said, if you have the time and can split the box out by category (be it Star Wars, pirates, Medieval, Technic or whatever) these smaller – more specific – bundles will frequently sell for more than a job-lot of unsorted bricks.
Let’s face it, LEGO makes a lot of sets, and LEGO is expensive. LEGO also retires sets after a period of time. All of this means that we may not be able to afford everything we want when available, and by the time we are ready to buy, the set of our dreams could be out of production. Or you may learn about an old set just now, but it has been retired years ago. So what to do? This is what we will explore today. 🙂
LEGO 75095 TIE Fighter is part of the Star Wars Ultimate Collector Series (UCS). It has been featured in many of the battle scenes in the Star Wars movies. LEGO 75095 Tie Fighter is a large-size set that weighing in… Continue Reading →
What a fun and creative building set! This was purchased as a gift for a four year old boy’s birthday and he absolutely loved it. He has lots of legos already, but this set was a great addition to his collection. This set definitely inspires the mind as it can be built at least three different ways. It has lots of fun little extras like the ladder that lifts up and the trap door that can be sealed. It just has lots of fun little elements. It comes with complete instructions for building it all 3 ways and provides hours of brain-stimulating fun for children in a wide range of ages. I would recommend this building set for anyone who likes legos whether they have lots of sets already or are just starting out. A young child will need help building the sets so it makes a great one on one activity to do with you child. I am pleased with the quality, the price, and the overall value of this lego set.
More of an architectural marvel than an actual play-thing, the Empire’s second attempt at creating a planet-annihilator makes for a rather functional Lego set. Packaged with a display stand, this one is for the artistically minded collectors out there.
If you found an enormous deal but spent 30+ hours to find it then you should be getting them for free. Once you have taught yourself what is the actual MSRP, you should be ready to act when there is a good sale. Note: Toys ‘R Us prices may be higher than MSRP so do the math when you shop Buy-One-Get-One-50% Off.
Jabba’s Palace depicts the Star Wars scene where Princess Leia attempts to infiltrate Jabba the Hutt’s palace in order to rescue Han Solo, who is imprisoned in carbonite. It’s a well-done, atmospheric set that’s fun to build, with excellent minifigs and good playability.
Super cool Discontinued LEGO Atlantis set! Comes with three extra minifigures including a manta ray and shark guardian, and extra explorer and two aquatic animals, a shark and squid. Very very good condition and ready for a new home!
LEGO enchants many kids but not every kid. There might be someone willing to sell it to you or just give it to you if you just start a discussion in your online parenting groups about how you would like to buy affordable LEGOs.  If you are looking to give it to a classroom or community center, mention that in your query.    You never know… For us, we’ve seen a lot of generosity from fellow New Yorkers.  I’m so grateful.
This is Lego’s second Creator structure for 2013. The first was #31009 which is less expensive, but probably not as much fun. The third structure is #31012 which I also like very much but it is substantially more expensive at 69.99 MSRP. I also recommend #5766 which came out in 2011, is a favorite with kids, and is still available as I write this.
With only 90 pieces, the Speeder Bikes set includes two Speeder Bikes, plus two Scout Troopers and Luke Skywalker. While not as big as the other sets, your collection will benefit from this awesome set, as will your wallet (it’s under $50)!

If you want to get rid of them fast, I would really suggest Craiglist first and be willing to take less. Preparing, listing, and selling items on eBay is a lot of work. If you have the time though, you can pace yourself and list 2-5 items per month. It may take you a year to sell everything, but you will get the best return. So it just depends. 🙂
New for 2018, Lego 75200 Ahch-To Island Training. Will it be an invigorating shot for Lego Star Wars sets or just another poor performer. Brook will look back at the patterns from the the Force Awakens Lego sets and to see what the future holds.
Your child will have a renewed interest in the things he already owns and you won’t be adding more stuff to your household. Well, besides the book. But, they are available on Kindle, so you can save space that way, too.
Of course as a large company LEGO would get some discount on international shipping, but still it would be higher than just buying locally. If you are interested in regional sets, BrickLink is your best option. Just choose the seller that is closest to you to save on shipping fees. 🙂
I can’t believe I bought this thing. The buyer’s remorse was instant. I’m 34 years old and bought a Lego Death Star. Is this what my life has come to? Spending hard earned paycheck dollars on plastic bricks? Whatever, dude! This is the BEST. TOY. EVERRRRR!!! I put it in my kitchen as a decoration. I like to crush the **** out of Lego Luke in the Lego trash compactor. Take that, maturity!
➡ LEGO MINECRAFT SETS ON SALE: LEGO Minecraft sets are not just great for Minecraft fans, but they are also excellent parts-packs for basic LEGO bricks in earthy colors, especially when they are on sale. Some of the current sets on sale that are marked as retiring soon include the #21127 LEGO Minecraft The Fortress (the only set with a Minecraft horse!), the #21122 LEGO Minecraft The Nether Fortress, the #21124 LEGO Minecraft The End Portal, the #21121 LEGO Minecraft The Desert Outpost, and the #21126 LEGO Minecraft The Wither. You can find them under the LEGO Minecraft section or under Sales and Deals at the Online LEGO Shop.
Design: This set uses a modular design. If you follow the instructions, you get eight distinct modules, four above ground and four below ground. You can arrange these in dozens of different ways to create tiny cave networks and a multi-layered effect. The caves have several different kinds of hidden resources that you can only see when you take the top layer off. The overall effect of the design is a pretty good representation of the Minecraft world.
I’ve got to be honest with you: the first time I saw the concept of a U-Wing I hated it. It was probably 5 to 6 months before Rogue One was released, and I felt Lucasfilms was really stretching the “Letter-Wing ship” concept.

Also, I just looked at the 10246 press-release, and I’m positively shaking because I can’t get to LDD now, and there’s so much to build! I will retain my full opinion, however, until admin’s article about it is published. 😉 But one question: how is that pool sign attached? It seems to be one hinge, but I can’t guess what the other parts there are. 😕
Stir the pieces around once an hour. Stirring the small pieces around with a stick or gloved hand will dislodge the bubbles causing them to float. Try this every hour or so for best results. If you leave pieces floating too long, they can develop a cloudy white marking along the water line.[6]
Yes, that’s a good resource as well. I also found their pricing much higher than BL and their selection is limited, but as you mentioned for rare pieces and expensive pieces it is worth to check. An issue with Bricks and Pieces though that is good to keep in mind is that their shipping time can take weeks as they ship directly from Denmark. So if you are in the USA, Canada, Australia, etc. it can take weeks. But yes, they should definitely be a resource to at least check out comparison shopping.

We sell retired LEGO sets so that fans and collectors that missed out on a set while it was generally available can have a chance to own it.  LEGO typlically produces sets for 6-24 month cycles, then its retired forever.  If you like a current set, our advice is to buy it while its available from Lego.com, Amazon.com, Target, Toys R Us, etc.  We can’t compete with the big boys on current sets.  But if there’s something you wanted that is no longer in production, we’re here to help!

“find lego sets retired lego star wars”

After reading a couple of interesting posts I thought I would toss my own thoughts on what the Lego.com retiring soon moniker means to me.  To me this is definitely going to be the bane of the secondary market in time.  It indicates to everyone interested in Lego that their time is nearly up to purchase particular sets.  It also indicates to resellers that the time to buy is now.  I’m sure there will be the usual procrastinators inside of there yet, but I think overall less.  I think that for every one person who buys one knowing that a set will soon be retired there will be another reseller buying two of them to hopefully sell to the person that missed that time window.  If Lego stays on top of and consistent with their labeling of sets ‘retiring soon’ it will definitely start to take the steam out of the secondary market and make buying and holding a regular occurrence with the majority of sets.  (this is not meant to be a bubble thread)  I apologize in advance if it somehow evolves into that or an ethical debate.  Overall this doesn’t bother me, just one of those things I’ve given a moments thought to.
Listen, most Legos are going to go down in value the you buy them. Just try selling some generic Legos on Craigslist and see what the response is. The point isn’t to simply stock up on whatever Legos you can find. There are things to look for:

Yes, I know that sounds silly. Many Lego maniacs will sniff you out. But, lots of kids don’t really care where the Lego come from. Mine certainly didn’t. They were thrilled with this random bag my mom picked up at a garage sale for a few bucks.

I disappeared into the Harry Potter Lego Internet rabbit hole and here are a few of the places I’ve found to buy discontinued Harry Potter Lego sets, or even used Lego pieces — all without breaking the bank.
This Lego set is not only one of the top runners as far as expense is concerned, but it is also one of the best and well-sought Lego sets because it’s so symbolic of what everyone wants – freedom. Adult Lego collectors want the freedom to relish in their love of crafting, and building things, they believe, represents their values – the adult-level appreciation of things such as freedom, as well as the childhood wonderment of creating something from nothing that’s so spectacular and momentous.

This looks to be a complete Geonosian Fighter but not 100% sure. I have included the manual for this set. You will get what you see in the photos. The manual shows a ray gun and that is not included h…
Poe’s X-Wing stands out with the bold black and orange color scheme.  This is a stark contrast to the usual gray and red/blue scheme from the original trilogy.  The assembled starship takes up some space, but does so with a relatively small piece count of 717.  It has all of the features you would want from an X-wing, the wings switch between attack and flight positions, multiple shooters, and retractable landing gear.  Included with set are Poe and two generic Resistance members, the real gem is naturally the BB-8 who sits nicely behind the cockpit.  The build is fairly straightforward and is certainly shorter than some of the bigger sets, but will keep you interested.  Come for the slick color scheme on the awesome X-wing, stay for the great features and BB-8.
